Our Story

Letter from the founder

Where It All Began

It all started when, one day, I contemplated a red Moroccan tarbouch with a black choucha, fascinated by its beauty, nobility and details.

Passionate since my youngest age by art, fashion and shoes, I therefore imagined a pair of pumps with the same materials and details, dragging a long black Choucha behind, moving right and left at every walk. Inspiration, imagination, drawing then visualization, I was completely conquered by this model and I could already see it sublimating day and evening looks with its distinctive details.

I also realized that I was surrounded by countless sources of inspiration. Morocco has a rich history and an impressive cultural diversity which constitute a precious heritage to preserve. I concluded that this fusion between Moroccan craftsmanship and the shoe trends would certainly make a good pair, and could see the birth of a unique concept, contributing to make Moroccan shoes worn on several occasions.

I started designing pairs of shoes, chic and glamorous with a traditional Beldi touch, spending hours and nights thinking about each distinctive detail that would reveal the character and the particularity of each model. I also imagined the materials, the colors, and the attitude they will give to each woman wearing them.

Translating my ideas into designs made me dream, dream of producing them, touching them, wearing them, but, above all, dream of seeing women wearing NADA KADI shoes all over the world and feeling their strength, finesse and uniqueness.

Combining the audacity of style and the rules of tradition, our creations have an aspect that is both audacious and conservative.

Through our signature “Dare the Style, Keep the Heritage“, NADA KADI affirms its identity, reproduced in each of its models at their special shapes, details and finishes.

Tradition at the heart
of savoir-faire

NADA KADI pays tribute to Moroccan craftsmanship, and includes the traditional touch in each of its models. It is with big finesse and delicacy that the artisanal work is carried out.

Our Mâallems pay particular attention to every detail, and use their savoir-faire at each stage of production in order to elevate the nobility and beauty of our creations, designed to sublimate your exceptional looks.

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

Inspired by Morocco, designed and Made in Morocco from Moroccan artisans to the worldwide, this is how NADA KADI shoes come to life !

Each of the NADA KADI designs is the result of an inspiration from the history and culture of Morocco. Our shoe designer first makes a sketch which is the starting point of the shoemaking process. In committee, we discuss with our team every little detail that can highlight the particularity of the model, in terms of style, materials, production and finishes, then we move to pattern making and prototyping. Once the sample is ready, we make sure to test our pairs in terms of style, quality and comfort, and this is the most important step of the process during which we make the necessary adjustments before starting the final production.

Supporting small and emerging local businesses is part of our DNA, the reason why we choose to work with small ateliers in Casablanca, in which our craftsmen, women and men, use their savoir-faire of shoemaking, to perfect the cutting, the artisanal work, the stitching, the assembly and the finishing  of the shoes. Our expert team meticulously carries out a technical and aesthetic handmade work at each stage of the manufacturing process in order to offer you an authentic shoe experience.
